On Nov. 15 at 2pm, the Wellington County Museum’s exhibition hall will be rich with the sound of violins and piano.
The program will include Beethoven Sonata for violin and piano Op. 96 in G major, Bach Sonata for violin and keyboard BWV 1017 in E minor, Telemann Canonic Sonata for two violins No. 1, Schostakovitch Duets for two violins, and more.
Husband and wife team Ken Gee, piano, and Paule Barsalou, violi will perform. Barsalou, who plays with the Guelph symphony, is bringing the second violin section with her for the concert which includes Janet Diebel, Carmen Evans, Alison Fewerworker, Veronica, Kroes, Elayne Ras and Janine Smith.
This well-attended series of six concerts is sponsored by the non-profit Gallery Concert Group in co-operation with the Wellington County Museum. Tickets at $10 and are available at the door. A ticket includes admittance to all the exhibits of the museum as well as refreshments with the artists and friends after the concert.
