The public can meet artist Edward Kuris at Cafe Creperie on Nov. 12 from 7 to 9:30pm.
Kuris has been an associate of the Ontario College of Art (OCAD) since 1970.
He has studied drawing, painting, and advertising art and has worked in engineering as a designer, scale model maker, draftsman, and graphic designer.
He is also an abstract figurative painter; does sculptures in soapstone, wood and metal; and creates brass and copper jewelry.
Kuris is also a poet. He has been published in over forty literary journals across Canada and abroad and received an Ontario Arts Council grant for poetry.
Kuris’ exhibit of older and recent paintings will be at the Cafe Creperie until Nov. 29.
