The County of Wellington, in partnership with the Local Immigration Partnership and Workforce Planning Board, has organized two “Live and Work” Wellington bus tours.
These bus tours are linked to the county’s Global Talent Attraction Initiative that began in February.
County officials state the goal of the tours is predominantly to attract immigrants and newcomers to the county as well as provide an opportunity for new graduates to experience the diversity and skilled business options available in the region.
This year, a tour on Oct. 29 has an agricultural focus while another on Nov. 19 focuses on health care.
Anyone looking for work is welcome to come on the tour. Reservations are strictly on a first come, first served basis.
The Live and Work Wellington County is a free bus tour of Wellington County companies that are currently hiring for new positions.
Officials say job seekers will have the opportunity to ask employers questions, hand out resumes and learn about working and living in Wellington County.
