An OPP officer has been charged with careless driving following a four-vehicle collision here last week.
Wellington County OPP responded to the crash on Brock Road in Aberfoyle at 6:45pm on Sept. 17.
Police say an OPP officer was traveling northbound behind three other vehicles on Brock Road when he failed to stop for the vehicles. The collision caused all four vehicles to come into contact with each other. Three of the four drivers received minor injuries, but nobody required hospitalization. Damage to all vehicles was moderate, police say.
The collision was investigated by a member of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) unit.
Provincial Constable G. Lake, a 19-year veteran of the OPP currently attached to the Investigation and Enforcement Bureau, was issued a ticket for careless driving.
