In response to hot humid weather Centre Wellington has opened cooling centres for residents in Elora and Fergus this week.
Environment Canada has updated a severe weather bulletin for Southern Ontario this morning, with a heat warning continued for Northern and Southern Wellington County.
With another hot and humid day and higher than normal temperatures expected to continue into the evening, residents are reminded that cooling centres are available for use this week at our recreational buildings.
Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex – 6am – 12am, 500 Belsyde Ave. East, Fergus
Elora Community Centre – 8am – 8pm, 29 David Street West, Elora
