Spirit of the Hills, Hillsburgh’s Family Fun Day will be held on Aug. 15 from 10am to 2pm.
The circus theme this year will include popcorn, candy floss, face painting, balloons and a fortune teller.
There will also be a bouncy castle and circus-themed games such as walking the tightrope, feeding the lion and pin the nose on the clown.
At 11am, members of the International Taoist Tai Chi Centre will demonstrate the 5,000-year-old practice of Tai Chi. At noon, the St Andrews Church Bell Choir will perform on the stage in the Historical Park.
The Celebrity Challenge will take place at 1pm. The celebrities will take turns acting out circus-themed words or phrases in an old-fashioned game of Charades. The classic car show will be back. Visitors will have a chance to vote for their favourite car.
