Elora Community Theatre (ECT)has found a new home at the corner of Catherine Street and Highway 86 near West Montrose and will be taking up residence at the beginning of August.
The group learned in June that it would need to vacate the former Gary Cooper dealership in Elora because the lot was sold. The tenants are required to be moved out by Aug. 2.
Rehearsals will begin at the new location for the comedy Don’t Talk to the Actors, the first ECT show of the season. Auditions will be held at the beginning of October for The Drawer Boy, the second show.
The group will be holding a moving sale on July 18 from 8am to noon at the former Gary Cooper dealership across from the Elora quarry.
The group will also be hosting Shakespeare in the Park: Twelfth Night at the corner of Mill and Metcalfe in Elora from July 17 to 19.
