A senior here recently woke up to discover he had been robbed overnight.
On June 27 at about 8am Wellington County OPP received a report of a break and enter to a residence located on Elgin Street North in Mount Forest.
Police say unknown suspect/s entered the home by cutting the screen in an open window sometime between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
“The elderly home owner was at home sleeping during this crime and did not hear anything,” police stated in a press release.
A Lenovo laptop and leather wallet containing cash and identification was stolen.
