The Centre Wellington Rotary will present its annual duck race, taking place at Bissell Park in Elora on July 1, and featuring Puppets Elora at 12:15pm, an amazing display of agility by the Diamonds in the Ruff dog club at 12:35pm and beautiful highland dancing by Blue Bonnet Lassies at 1pm.
Mark Haynes and Transit will also be there with some great music. The event will wrap up with the annual duck race down the Grand River at 1:30pm.
Centre Wellington Rotary is proud to bring the duck race to Bissell Park.
Proceeds from the duck race go to Power of Play’s accessible Southridge Park in Elora.
“The Centre Wellington Rotary Accessible Playground is a shining example of what a playground should be. It allows children of all abilities to play and learn together. You never know when an accessible playground will be important for you or someone you care about. Thank you Centre Wellington Rotary,” said Power of Play organizer Andy Speers.
Ducks can be purchased for $5 at Zehrs Fergus and Elora Home Hardware on Saturday June 27 from 10am to 2pm.
