Police are seeking the public’s help after a number of jewelry items were stolen during a break and enter here last week.
On June 2, Wellington County OPP received a report about a break and enter to a residence on Highway 89 in the Town of Minto sometime between 8:15am and 3:45pm.
Stolen from the home was:
– 16 gold chains, some with pendants (“#1 Gramma,” gold baby booties, gold horse, a heart with a red stone and a heart pendant with a watch inside);
– gold wedding band;
– gold engagement ring, large diamond in the middle with two diamonds on either side (band broken);
– family ring with blue sapphire and June, December and November birthstones;
– gold ring with a large Pearl and one diamond; and
– coins, including five old silver dollars in a white cardboard box with a pink lid.
