The Elora Sculpture Project will officially launch its 2015 exhibition on May 10.
The annual exhibition features 14 sculptures on display outdoors in downtown Elora. Sculptures were selected by a jury earlier this year.
The exhibition includes works in clay, stone, steel, bronze, mosaic and mixed media.
This year’s artists are from Centre Wellington and from locations across Ontario including Guelph, Stratford and Belleville.
The public is invited to join project organizers and many of the participating artists in the annual Artist Walk.
The sculptors will introduce their works during a walking tour of the installations at the free event.
The walk will depart from the Elora Center for the Arts, on Melville Street in Elora shortly after 2pm.The sculptures will remain on exhibit until October.
The Elora Sculpture Project is a volunteer-run initiative operating in cooperation with the Elora BIA and the Township of Centre Wellington. Financial support is provided by local businesses including Noecker Travel Ltd and the TD Financial Group of Elora.
