The Elora Centre for the Arts’ popular Art in the Yard event will return for it’s 13th year on July 4 and 5. The event runs from 10 to 5pm.
The Centre is inviting applications for exhibition from all artists, artisans and craftspeople working in a wide range of traditional and experimental forms. Fine, decorative and applied arts in all media will be considered. Entries will be selected by a jury of professional peers to ensure a high presentation of unique original material only. Deadline for entries is May 8. Artists are encouraged to apply early as space is limited. Application details can be found at www.eloracentreforthearts.ca.
This outdoor show and sale is held on two acres of the Elora Centre for the Arts’s garden property. A rain or shine event, Art in the Yard draws visitors from the surrounding area as well as many who come to explore the downtown and nearby Elora Gorge. The event also offers a free children’s art area, live entertainment and local food vendors.
