While appreciative of the public’s concern, the owners of the Elora Apothecary (Pharmasave) on Geddes Street here want to assure locals there was no robbery at their store.
On Nov. 23 Elora Apothecary was used to film a scene from a short movie by an independent production company out of Waterloo.
A portion of the filming, Andrew and Bronwyn Tolmie explained, included covering the shop’s windows and using an unmarked police vehicle outside the building.
Local police were notified of the filming and the Tolmies were “thrilled” to host the movie shoot at the pharmacy.
