Wightman Telecom’s Heels for Hospitals fundraiser, the sixth annual, is set to go on Oct. 18.
Participants, many in heels, will walk approximately one kilometre up Allan Street in Clifford to raise funds for local health care. Team registration begins at 9:30am and the walk starts at 10am.
Once again, local businesses and community groups are being challenged to walk and raise pledges for the local hospital of their choice.
Heels for Hospitals has raised over $40,000 in its first five years.
Wightman Telecom will once again donate $20 for every participant.
