A male pilot and his female passenger escaped with minor injuries after a plane crash here last week.
On Sept. 19 at about 2:03pm, Wellington County OPP, along with Wellington North Fire Services and Guelph-Wellington EMS, responded to a report of an airplane crash in a field at Wellington Road 16 and Highway 89 in former West Luther Township.
Police say officers located a Piper Turbo Arrow 3 airplane with extensive damage.
A male pilot and female passenger suffered minor injuries and were transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash was not immediately determined and the Transport Safety Bureau was notified.
