On Aug. 27 at approximately 11am, members of the Wellington County OPP received a call regarding property damage that occurred at the Rockwood Cemetery located on Main Street in Rockwood.
Investigation revealed that sometime between Aug. 26 at 4pm and Aug. 27 at 11am unknown suspect/s entered onto the cemetery property and removed letters from the Rockwood Cemetery sign and smashed a stained glass window in the chapel as well as other decorative glass inside chapel.
A hydro meter was also damaged.
OPP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for this crime.
