If community involvement, personal growth or skill development are on your bucket list, then consider competing in this year’s Fergus Fair ambassador competition– open to Centre Wellington residents aged 17 to 25.
“It’s been such a rewarding experience,” says Krista Fraser, 2013/14 Fergus Fair ambassador.
“I’ve had opportunities to meet new people, become more involved in our community, travel to events and learn a lot of new skills.”
The ambassador competition is Sept. 7 at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex where contestants will compete for the title of 2014/15 Fergus Fair ambassador. Contestants will be interviewed by a panel of judges, prepare a poster board about themselves and present a five minute speech.
