Credit Valley Conservation’s (CVC) Countryside Stewardship program is hosting the third installment of its Twilight Tour series.
The third tour takes place on Aug. 13 at Whole Village eco-village in Caledon from 6:30 to 8pm.
The session will be guided by Heather Holm, author of Pollinators of Native Plants. Attendees will tour pollinator gardens on-site and learn how to attract, observe and identify beneficial insects. This event will demonstrate how rural landowners can create gardens to improve natural areas and benefit pollinator insects.
The event will run rain or shine and requires minimal walking (dress for the weather and bring a lawn chair).
Preference is given to landowners within the Credit River watershed. Others welcome as space allows. Space is limited. Pre-registration required by Aug. 10.
