Beef Farmers of Ontario announces new president at annual meeting

Over 400 beef farmers and industry representatives from across Ontario gathered in Toronto last month for the Beef Farmers of Ontario (BFO) 52nd annual general meeting.

Bob Gordanier of Dufferin County was announced on Feb. 24, as president of the association. Gordanier operates a 50-head commercial cow-calf forage based operation near Orangeville with his son Andrew.

Matt Bowman of Temiskaming was elected vice-president. Bowman and his family farm near New Liskeard, operating a Charolais-based cow-calf operation with 110 cows.
