Wellington County OPP is investigating a motor vehicle collision involving an OPP cruiser and two other vehicles.
The collision occurred at approximately 12:25pm on Feb 24, on Wellington Road 19 between 2nd and 3rd Line in Centre Wellington Township, east of Fergus.
Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the officer to a local hospital by ambulance with non life threatening injuries.
OPP Highway Safety Division Reconstructionist and Wellington County OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) assisted with the investigation. Centre Wellington Fire Rescue also attended the scene.
Wellington Road 19 was closed between 2nd and 3rd Line for several hours following the crash.
