The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce is celebrating Small Business Month by hosting a Business Showcase and dinner with Home Hardware Stores Limited’s executive vice-president and COO Terry Davis as keynote speaker.
The event takes place on Oct. 17 at the paddock area and Lighthouse Restaurant at Grand River Raceway.
From 3 to 6pm there will be a trade show exhibit featuring local businesses. The exhibit area is also open to the public to attend free. The dinner with speaker is a ticketed event, with cocktails at 6, dinner at 7 and speaker at 8pm.
Home Hardware was recently named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and is Canada’s largest independent home improvement retailer with close to 1,100 stores across Canada.
Davis was recently featured on Undercover Boss Canada which follows executives as they go undercover alongside their staff. Davis will talk about his experience undercover.
