The Grand River Mustangs are offering free sessions for players who want to give girls hockey a try.
Sessions are slated for Sept. 4 at 5pm at the Fergus Arena and Sept 12 at 6pm at the Elora Arena.
Required equipment for the sessions includes a helmet, gloves, skates and a stick. Age categories include: 5-8, 9-13 and 14 and up.
The Mustangs will also hold a bring a friend day on Sept. 8 at the Fergus arena. Off -ice activities will include a barbecue, games and an equipment exchange.
