Golf tournament chips in for Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph (HFHWDG) is looking forward to their 7th annual Chipping in for Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament set for Sept 9.

The event will be hosted by RLB LLP Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors. For a second year, the committee has booked in to the Cutten Fields Golf Club in Guelph, to welcome more than a hundred golfers.

“It is important that local businesses support and give back to their community. We are proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity in hosting a great day of golf and camaraderie that will forward the organization’s important initiatives,” said RLB managing partner Dave McEllistrum.

The all-inclusive day of 18 holes of golf will take place on the exclusive private links complete with a practice range, golf professional, full  lunch, complimentary massage, and other services throughout the day. For $300 per golfer ($1200 foursome), each golfer will experience the day’s activities followed by cocktails, a delicious dinner, and live auction.

“We are excited to welcome back RLB as our hosts for this year’s golf tournament. This great partnership is an example of the tremendous support and collaboration in our community, and we cannot wait for September,” said Steve Howard, interim executive director of HFHWDG.

All proceeds go directly to supporting HGHWDG’s efforts to building homes for low-income families in our close community.
