With Spring in the air, East Wellington Community Services’ (EWCS) is already looking forward to summer and are busy preparing for the 11th annual fundraising Golf Tournament that will take place on Tuesday, July 16 at the Guelph Lakes Golf & Country Club.
The event will kick off at 12:30pm with a shot gun start and use best ball format.
Participating as a golfer in the tournament costs $120 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, a catered lunch and sirloin steak dinner, the use of a power cart, a team photograph, a grab bag and the opportunity to meet many other community minded individuals and businesses.
There are only spaces available for 144 golfers so early registration is advised to avoid missing out.
The annual golf tournament has become a cornerstone fundraising event for the agency.
Proceeds are used to continue funding programs and services such as the active adults’ recreation programs, seniors’ day program, transportation, community information and referral services and children’s programs.
There are many sponsorship opportunities available including sponsoring tournament contests, golf carts, sponsoring a hole or donating an item for the silent and live auctions that will be held as part of the event.
All of these sponsorship opportunities will showcase support of East Wellington Community Services to the more than 140 golfers in attendance at this year’s tournament in addition to being recognized within the local community as an event sponsor.
