The annual Waterloo Rural Women Conference Day is scheduled for Feb. 13 at Schmidtsville Restaurant in Wellesley.
This year’s speakers include Brenda Gerber from New Hamburg, Linda Slits from Milverton, and Darlene Aberle from Elmira.
Gerber will address the topic of overcoming obstacles in life. She will share her story on how she was able to carry on after experiencing a serious farm injury as a child.
Slits is the 2013 CNE Ambassador. She will share her experience from the past year and highlight how she was able to promote agriculture in her role as ambassador and her career in agriculture.
In the afternoon farm wife Darlene Aberle will demonstrate how to use simple items found around the house and farm to decorate for a fresh spring look.
Lunch and coffee breaks are included in the $20 registration fee .
