Lantern Tours make for fun walk about town

A walk at night through the streets of Centre Wellington will never be the same for anyone who joins in the Older Voices production of the Historical Lantern Tours.

Helping participants put a little spook in their step, actors Gary Bryant and Al Koop bring local historic characters to life in an entertaining presentation that is guaranteed to be memorable.

Taking part in Elora’s Monster Month, two tours will be featured on Oct. 20 at 8pm and Oct. 26 at 7pm. Admission is free. The tour will depart from the Elora Information Centre on 9 East Mill Street.

The Fergus Lantern Tour will take place on Oct. 30 at 7pm, departing from the Downtown Fergus library steps.

To add to the spooky events, two additional tours are featured, at a cost of $5 per person, departing from the Scare Fair, located at the Elora Centre for the Arts, on Oct. 20 at 9pm.

A second tour in Fergus will leave the Brewhouse Pub on Oct. 27 at 8pm.

Private tour events are also available for group bookings during evenings throughout October.
