The Elora Festival and Singers will host a unique evening to commemorate the splendor and tragedy of RMS Titanic, and the raising of funds to support the arts organization.
With the talents of Elora’s Chef Roger Dufau, the evening will include a three-course menus inspired by the dinners served aboard the fateful ship, but sourced using local ingredients.
Participants are encouraged to dig out their vintage dresses and jackets and be part of an unforgettable evening.
The black-tie optional event will take place at the Wellington County Museum and Archives on Oct. 20, and will include a narration and songs from “Unsinkable,” a production featuring the Elora Festival Singers and written by Hugh Brewster, a foremost authority on the Titanic.
All proceeds from this fundraising event will support the artistic programming of the Elora Festival.
“The Last Evening on the Titantic” begins with cocktails at 6:30pm, followed by a full gourmet dinner served in three courses.
Tickets are $175 per person, with a tax receipt issued for $75.
