ESCS offering car seat clinic in Rockwood on Oct. 18

Non-use or misuse of a car seat, child restraint or booster can cost $240 plus two demerit points off a driver’s license?

Area residents now have the chance to have their child’s car seat inspected by trained volunteers on Oct.18, by the Rockwood Fire Department from 2pm to 5:30pm.

This is a free clinic for car seats for children ages birth to 12 years old. Pre-registration is required. Contact Jane – 519-856-2113.

Infant Massage Classes

Classes begin Oct. 4, and suited for children ages birth to 9 months old or crawling.

Local residents are invited to join a certified instructor for a five week course that will teach participants how to massage a baby using a combination of Swedish and Indian massage strokes.

Massage strokes are repeated and developed each week, so that by the end of the course parents will be able to give their baby/babies a full massage.

Classes run on Thursdays from Oct. 4 to Nov. 1 from 10 to 11:30am
