The monsters are back in Elora's Twilight Zoo which opens this weekend.
These amazing monsters are why fine artist Tim Murton has been dubbed “the Monster Guy".
Murton started the Twilight Zoo in 1996 as Halloween decorations for the kids.
Featured on Martha Stewart's Halloween Special in 2011, these wire and paper sculptures have become a regular part of the Elora landscape every fall.
Murton adds to the Zoo collection every year and as the menagerie grows so does the number of people visiting to see them.
With many many thanks going out to the fine folks who help to repaper and gauze the creations each year.
The 2012 display opens on Oct. 6 and continues to Oct. 31. The zoo is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, from noon to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays and on Sundays from noon to 4pm.
Please enter through the outdoor gate after 4pm, at all other times please enter through the Gallery inside.
