Babies under one year old can enjoy a new ‘fall’ adventure like their older siblings and friends at this time of year.
Trillium Waldorf School, Guelph, will offer two ‘Baby Days’ Friday Aug. 31 and Friday Sept. 7. From 9:30am to 11:30am on these days, registered parents and wee ones will experience a morning of music and movement, artistic activity, storytelling, and free exploration in a warm and social atmosphere. The group will be small, and there is no fee to attend. Visitors of all ages can also drop in on these days between 9am and 1pm to learn about Waldorf early childhood programs, tour spaces, and peruse child development and parenting resources in the school’s store.
Trillium Waldorf School offers programming to families and children from birth to the early teens through its parent-child program, kindergartens, and grades one through eight classes. Waldorf schools worldwide offer a developmentally appropriate, experiential approach to education. They strongly integrate the arts and academics and the central aim of the education is to inspire life-long learning in each student and enable them to fully develop their unique capacities.
