On May 12 a group of boys and girls, along with some adult volunteers, set out for Drayton Minor Hockey’s semi-annual bottle drive.
Organizers were pleased to announce the bottle drive raised $1,647 for the Mapleton Arena Xpansion (MAX) committee. Drayton Minor Hockey would like to thank the community for its continued support.
About minor hockey
Drayton Minor hockey strives to provide fun, competitive and affordable hockey to boys and girls in the Mapleton area. The organization relies heavily on volunteers to run teams and the day-to-day operations of the organization.
In order to keep the registration rates low about $15,000 is raised yearly (about $100 per player) through fundraising. This cannot be done without the help of volunteers and the community at large. Officials wish to thank all supporters.
