Any not-for-profit organization, church, school or charity understands the challenges in fundraising.
On April 23, the Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) and Upper Grand Learning Foundation present their eighth annual Fundraising Fair.
The free event offers information on fundraising products including vendors featuring everything from from foods and services, such as disc jockeys, to help make fundraising events a success.
The event will include door prizes and music.
Two mini-seminars will feature expert advice on fundraising efforts.
Christine Oldfield of the Volunteer Centre Guelph/Wellington will offer her advice on “Bridging the Gap” which explores new research on volunteer engagement. Oldfield will speak at 1:30pm and 6:30pm
Mary Lloyd, partner in Ralph Basset Associates (professional fundraisers/event organizers) will share her expertise on “Watching the Bottom Line” – building and tracking resources and taking advantage of savings. Lloyd will present her mini-seminar at 2:30pm and 5:30pm.
