Wellington North drinking water systems have received a final inspection rating of 100%.
Mayor Ray Tout and other members of council say they are very pleased with Ministry of Environment inspections conducted in January of the Arthur and Mount Forest drinking water systems.
Township officials say the 100% ratings show the results of continuous efforts of township staff and “demonstrates their professionalism in maintaining our municipal water for the safety of our residents.”
Officials said in a press release they would like to congratulate the water department “for their amazing team work as they strive towards excellence as it relates to the water systems within Wellington North.”

Also last week, Guelph-Eramosa officials announced their water systems, too, received a 100% rating.
“Basically, everything has been wonderful,” said Donna Button, a member of the township’s quality management system team.
She told council both the Rockwood and Hamilton Drive water systems received a 100% rating.
