FERGUS – On March 13 at about 5pm the county OPP received a report of a theft of groceries from Zehrs Markets at 800 Tower Street S.
Cloes said security staff reported seeing a female go through the store who then walked out to her car without paying.
The value of the items was more than $90.
Police investigated the incident and have charged a woman with theft.
Betty Ilene Bossence, 66, of Mapleton Township, is charged with theft under $5,000.
She is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on May 1 to answer the charge.
