On March 4, the Elora Fergus Unitarian church will feature Tom Brown from the Don Heights Unitarian Congregation in Toronto, who will speak about his adventures on the famous ancient, over 900km long pilgrimage route in North Spain, El Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
He started at an earlier point in France at Biarritz and finished past the normal end point in Muxia. Meeting people from all walks of life and cultures, walking through stunning landscapes and mostly under sun and blue skies, Brown, 76, and a retired science teacher, felt it was a daily walking meditation for four weeks and he titled his address An Atheist’s Spiritual Journey.”
Everyone is welcome to the service that starts at 10am in the Victoria Park Seniors’ Centre, 150 Albert Street West, Fergus. More information is available at www.efuuc.org or at 800-565-2353.
