Networking Breakfasts
Breakfasts are held on the last Wednesday of the month, except for December, July and August.
All breakfasts start at 7:30am unless otherwise stated and the cost is $18 for members and $23 for future members.
Coming breakfasts and featured speakers and topics include:
– March 28, Northern Lights Canada, Melissa Macfarlane, Employer Services, at the Lighthouse at Grand River Raceway;
– April 25, Dr. Ted Clarke, at the Breadalbane Inn;
– May 30, annual general meeting, at the Lighthouse at Grand River Raceway; and
– June 27, Fergus and Elora BIAs, at the Gorge Country Kitchen.
Business After Hours
These events are held usually the third Wednesday of most months from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The next events are:
– March 21, hosted by Ellen Wilson at Sew Original;
– April 26, Awards of Excellence at the Sportsplex in Fergus; and
– May 16, Peter Egger and Norma Hesseltine, at the Breadalbane Inn.
Pub Night
The next chamber pub night, usually held the first Tuesday of the month between 5:30 and 7:30pm, is March 6 at Breadalbane Inn in Fergus. No RSVP required.
Awards of Excellence
Nominations for the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce Awards of Excellence close on March 2 at 4pm.
This theme of the awards this year is Centre Wellington – Oh the Places We Will Go (a Dr. Seuss theme).
The gala event is on April 26 at the Sportsplex in Fergus. Tickets will go on sale later in March and will be $75 each including HST.
