Once again heritage organizations of Guelph and Wellington County met at Stone Road Mall in Guelph to highlight the wide range of heritage preservation work taking place throughout the county.
Various local organizations took part this year, ranging from the area branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society to several historical societies to some of the finest nationally recognized museums, archives and libraries.
New this year at the show was the Arthur and Area Historical Society and the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum.
The event was established to mark the start of Heritage Week, and Heritage Day; which falls on Family Day in Ontario. Heritage Day has been celebrated in Ontario since 1985.
