Summer is here and that means that the member services committee is working to plan the next season of networking breakfasts and Business After Hours. Here are some dates to note.
NETWORKING BREAKFASTS
Networking breakfasts are held on the last Wednesday of the month, except for December, July, and August.
Sept. 28, Oct. 26, Nov. 30, are meetings and Jan. 25 is the date for the Mayor’s Breakfast, with meetungs Feb. 29, March 28, April 25, and May 30 (the date for the annual general meeting) and June 27.
All breakfasts start at 7:30am unless otherwise stated: Cost is $18 for members and $23 for future members
BUSINESS AFTER HOURS –
BAH events are held usually the third Wednesday of the most months, unless another major event is happening. BAH usually runs about 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Sept. 21, Oct.19 are dates for the
Business Showcase & Dinner, Nov. 16, Dec. 3 (Christmas party), Jan. 18, Feb. 15, March 21, April (TBA) for the Awards of Excellence, May 16, and June 13 (the 14th annual Chamber Golf Day), and on June 20, M&M Meat Shops hosts the wrap up charity barbecue.
If anyone is interested in speaking at a networking breakfast meeting or hosting a Business After Hours they should call the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce to get their names on the list for consideration by the member services committee.
