Sodexo Canada, a leading on-site health and nutrition and facilities management service solutions provider, announced recently that Nestlé Waters Canada has been awarded its Better Tomorrow Vendor of the Year award for 2011.
The award recognizes suppliers who address issues identified by Sodexo as being material to its market and stakeholders, including nutrition, health and wellness; local communities; and the environment.
Nestlé, which has a major office in Puslinch Township was recognized for its environmental leadership – from the light-weighting of its packaging and its successful efforts in driving innovation in recycling to its watershed management practices at its production facilities and continuous improvement related to its overall water and energy use and waste reduction regimen.
