In short, they are the same guys, but Wellington North is shifting the workload and responsibilities of some of its works yards foremen.
The changes are a result of the township’s hiring of a Director of Public Works and a works and road superintendent from existing staff.
Andy Morrison will become foreman for the for Arthur village works yard and the West Luther (Damascus) works yard. Morrison was foreman of the Arthur yard for the past 12 years.
He will be working out of the West Luther works yard.
David Hill, previously the foreman for the West Luther works yard, will become foreman of the Arthur township works yard in Kenilworth.
Gary Matthews will continue as foreman of the Mount Forest works yard.
A News release issued by Clerk Lori Heinbuch stated “council is confident that this re-distribution of foremen within Wellington North will ensure the continuation of the reliable service delivery that residents have come to expect.”
