A businessman here has won $1-million by playing a Lotto Max Encore lottery ticket in a Sept. 24 draw.
Paul Phillips, 64, said in a News release that he will invest some of his winnings an “help my kids and grandkids.”
“I was so amazed,” he said of learning of his win.
Phillips is a regular lottery ticket buyer and bought the winning ticket at a convenience store just east of Georgetown.
