There are many new insights that make a vegetable garden more productive and easier to manage.
During a full-day workshop (9am to 4pm) on March 27, participants will explore how digging, composting, and mulching practices contribute to healthy soil as the basis for healthy plants and food.
Participants will learn seed buying and planting schedules through to post harvest clean-up, including the reduction of even the organic or safe pest control products.
Guest instructor Denise Jupp will lead the workshop at The Arboretum. The registration fee is $75 and the registration deadline is March 12.
