The speakers were Margaret Reidt and Willa Wick. Reidt gave great tips on planting by signs of the moon and companion planting. The best planting times are between the first and second quarter of the moon each month. Rotating crops is very essential. Gardening is like a marriage and one must have the right partner.

Wick demonstrated folding of towels and serviettes. Members enjoyed the folding of the towels, and got to try their luck at folding serviettes, some to make flowers.
