FERGUS – Are your children safe in their car seats?
Four out of five children are correctly buckled into a car seat when riding in the car. The county OPP is urging parents to keep their children safe and ensure your child is not one of the statistics.
He urges parents to find out how to correctly installed or use a car seat, and to register today.
The county OPP Auxiliary Unit, along with Co-Operators Insurance, are hosting a free Child Safety Seat Clinic in Fergus. Spaces are limited, so to ensure a spot, call to make an appointment.
The event is on May 15, from 9am to 1pm at 250 Queen Street, Fergus at the Centre Wellington Fire Department’s Fergus Fire Hall.
