The Upper Grand Family Health Team has announced its interim leader after the departure of Rosslyn Bentley, who moved on to become executive director for Hospice Wellington.
The Family Health Team launched an executive search for her replacement and in the interim nurse practitioner Laurie Barnhardt will be at the helm.
Barnhardt has been with the team for over two years and has more than 25 years in nursing and management, having been a manager at the Cancer Centre at Grand River prior to joining the local team in 2007.
The FHT wishes Bentley well for the future and look forward to building further on the foundations laid to build an exceptional family health team. The FHT has offices in Fergus, Elora and Arthur, and serves more than 27,000 patients in Centre and North Wellington.
