Mayor Brad Whitcombe acknowledges Puslinch’s 2010 GRCA levy increase is “quite dramatic” but noted it’s the result of increased assessment in the township.
The township’s levy is up 24% this year, from $83,382 to $103,407. Whitcombe also noted the GRCA is struggling to deal with a lot of aging structures, as well as funding shortfalls from the province, which have been ongoing since 1996.
