Guelph MPP Liz Sandals has received new roles and responsibilities as parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Transportation, Premier Dalton McGuinty announced Monday.
“Guelph residents are keenly interested in the extension of GO train service to Guelph and the upgrading of local highways and I look forward to working with Minister Kathleen Wynne to implement MoveOntario 2020.” said Sandals.
Parliamentary assistants work with ministers on key priorities and projects within their portfolios.
