Plans are “moo-ving” forward for the annual Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce Awards of Excellence.
This year’s theme, Centre Wellington – Outstanding in Our Field will be on April 22.
Chamber president Michael Weinstein said, “We realize our township has a significant rural component so at this year’s event we will be having some fun with our extensive and amazing agricultural sector.”
Nominations are open and the chamber encourages township residents to submit a nomination for any of the 14 awards.
The categories includes: Agricultural and Agri Business award, Business Beautification, Business of the Year (fewer than and more than 15 employees), Citizen of the Year, Community Award of Merit, Corporate Citizen of the Year, Cultural and Arts Award of Merit, Customer Service Excellence Award, Environmental Excellence award, Sport Achievement award, Tourism Impact award, Youth Citizen of the Year – Alvin Shortt award, and Youth Entrepreneur of the Year award.
