Evil Genius, three other bands play March 31

The Guelph-based rock band Evil Genius will be joined by Maple Music recording artists In-Flight Safety, along with The Ascot Royals and Crush Luther in a special presentation here.

The four-bands-for-the-price-of-one show will take place on March 31 at Club Vinyl. Tickets are $8 and are available at The Beat Goes On and Futureshop locations in the city, as well as online at ticketscene.ca.

In-Flight Safety hails from Halifax, and in the last few years has made a name for itself as one of the pre-eminent rock talents coming out of the East Coast. In January, it released its third album, We Are an Empire, My Dear.

Evil Genius has quickly established itself as one of the freshest new acts to come out of the very musically inclined Guelph. It recently celebrated the release of it first EP of six songs, recorded at Grand River Studios

The Ascot Royals are a garage and southern rock and house outfit from Hamilton that has played across the Golden Horseshoe. This show is part of a four-night, mini-tour with Evil Genius.

Crush Luther is a four piece pop and rock band from Toronto. Its debut album and first single, City Girl, got airplay on Much Music and Much More Music. It played the Warped Tour for three consecutive years between 2005 and 2007 and is currently working on its second album.
