It is not exactly TV’s Candid Camera – but it looks like security cameras will be installed at the West Luther and Kenilworth works yards in Wellington North.
The proposal came up as part of the building and property report at council Monday night.
Councillor Ross Chaulk said Works Superintendent Gary Williamson came to the meeting with concerns about “a problem .. or potential problem.”
Williamson had a quote for security cameras at the two works yards, and wondered if the municipality should be paying for the camera.
“We don’t pay for repairs to garage doors,” Chaulk said.
“It’s just a question.”
